AAM® (UK) (www.landmines.org.uk) offers sponsors the opportunity to give directly to survivor assistance projects, as well as to mine clearance. The survivor assistance component has been developed with the support of Heather Mills, who with fiancé, Sir Paul McCartney, are Adopt-A-Minefield® Goodwill Ambassadors. AAM (Canada), sponsored by the Canadian Landmine Foundation, has spearheaded a new initiative to raise money and awareness during the Night of a Thousand Dinners.
On November 30, 2001, thousands of people around the world simultaneously hosted dinners in their homes, churches, school cafeterias, and greater communities to raise funds for AAM® and other mine action organizations. More information can be found at:

Adopt-A-Minefield® thanks all of its supporters and partners and invites you to help us clear a path to a safer world.
