The previous week, on May 8, two American relief workers, Dalell Mohmed and Dr. Riad Abdelkarim were jailed as suspected terrorists.

Ms Mohmed is the Executive Director of Kinder-USA, an organisation which provides relief to Palestinian children and Dr. Abedelkarim is a Member of the Board. Kinder-USA is based in Dallas, Texas.

The Associated Press reports that on Thursday, May 16, Ms Mohmed was released after being held eight days in a rat-infested cell and after enduring long interrogations, while shackled at the wrists and ankles. Dr. Abdelkarim is still being detained.

Starting at sundown, Thursday, May 16 until sundown, Friday, May 17, the Divine Gift of “The Law” to Moses and his people was commemorated in many places. Shavuot is also an annual harvest festival, celebrating the “First Fruits”.

The “Law of Moses” has been incorporated into Christianity and Islam. Sometimes called “The Mosaic Code”, it is also one of the foundation stones of Western Civilisation and a prime ingredient in the development of International Law. The “Mosaic Code” may now be said to apply to all people.

On Friday, May 17, just before Dawn, the IDF returned to Jenin and arrested 24 Palestinians, two of which are suspected terrorists. The IDF then left Jenin.
