With the USA Patriot Act, Homeland Security Act, other new laws, and an unjust Justice Department, a legal apparatus has been constructed to imprison foreign and American citizens without trial, legal representation, or constitutional protection, merely for being "suspects." The CIA now has orders to "shoot first and ask questions later," including suspected U.S. citizens. We have an unelected president who seized power through a judicial coup running the show.
3. Masters of cover-up, secrecy, deceit, deception, and intrigue - such as Henry Kissinger (now resigned) - have been moved into positions of governmental power. Other Iran-Contra criminals appointed to high positions in the Bush Administration, include Admiral John Poindexter, John Negroponte, Otto Reich, and Elliott Abrams.
4. Meanwhile, U.S. arms manufacturers equip the world with weapons, including those of mass destruction. They sell over $14 billion a year outside the U.S. This is half the world's market and more than the sales of manufacturers in the next ten countries combined. So who benefits from wars?
