the Children's Tree of Life Campaign.
One Child - One Voice gives viewers an empowering vision of how they can make the world a better place. In 1992, the original one-hour version, narrated by Jason Robards, was the centerpiece of Ted Turner's "Save the Earth" season. Broadcast in over 150 countries, it reached 2 billion viewers. Its curriculum guide was used in over ten thousand schools. The show led to an outpouring of response from children around the world. "Leaf postcards" sent to the TBS Superstation in Atlanta totaled over a million, which became a magnificent Tree of Life at the Earth Summit in Rio.

Today an even greater momentum is building. Leading environmental groups have pledged to help publicize the show. Organizations ranging from the Sierra Club to Earthday are alerting their vast international memberships and affiliate groups. The show invites children and their families to get involved in the new Tree of Life Campaign.
