The threat of major war hangs heavily over our planet, as the current U.S. President George W. Bush continues his militaristic proposals. Although the overwhelming majority of the world’s nations have expressed their disapproval of a “pre-emptive” attack on Iraq, the U.S. President has indicated that the United States might “go it alone”.
The U.S. Congress is now being asked for “approval”, when – according to the United States Constitution – the supreme law of the nation – only Congress has the right to declare war.
