Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil (Hebron) are held between the rock of choking Israeli measures and the hard place of fanatic Jewish settlers, Israeli human rights groups said in a report on Monday, May 14.
"Israeli actions, which are based on a policy preferring the settlers' interests, have turned Hebron's city center into a ghost town", said Sarit Michaeli, the spokeswoman of the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories (B'Tselem).
