The Democratic Party has demonstrated again (again and again) to stand for USA hegemony above all else. If there is any thinking person who has witnessed their performance since they "took over Congress" believing any more that they will act in any meaningful way different than their warmongering Republican party counterparts, they need to visit a psychiatrist real soon.
Just as in "Anybody But Bush", the 2004 war cry to throw Bush out and install warmonger Kerry, last week's action in the House, where they have a real margin, shows exactly what the Democratic party still stands for and how much we MUST rely on a full fledged campaign in 2008 to throw out these Democratic infidels, along with the remaining Republican warmongering, "support our soldiers", by electing an Independent People's party congress and President each of whom will take an oath as a prerequisite of candidacy never to take corporate monies, or legal suggestions, or relationships of any form from public for profit corporations, or their foundations and think tank groups, for the period they serve in our government and for a 10 year period thereafter under penalty of substantial monetary fines and extensive mandatory prison terms.
We cannot go another 4 years, then another 4, without a government in Washington that will listen to, and deal with the people's of THIS country's problems which are growing more immense by the day. Global warming is only one of the most severe threats we face and need to deal with, but the quality of our food supply, our looming shortage of water, the destruction of the ecological balance that is killing off our honey bees, (pollen distributors needed so urgently for our agricultural system,as just one simple example) along with the diminishing quality of the very air we breathe, now being loaded with fine particulates destroying our breathing capacity as humans, all need genuine problem solving, none of which will be at all possible under corporate rule such as presently exists in this country.
Wake up Americans, your (and my) children's lives will be a hell on earth unless we act NOW, and our first chance will be the 2008 elections. If we can't get a people's government going by then, a REAL ONE, we are a lost nation and the entire world we control will suffer as well. Not much else matters; the corporate stranglehold must end and we must ALL decide, this very minute, that we cannot go further downhill.

Nancy Pelosi is the Democratic Party's figurehead, pledged to return the party to real power in 2008 by doing whatever it takes to do so. This must not happen; the two party entities, both corporate instruments as we now clearly observe, solely represent the moneyed interests of our nation.
They do not, cannot and never will represent the real people - you and me - and our living, breathing human successors. They represent profits and money and will use every thing at their command to prevent you and me, and all humans from having a real voice in the running of this nation.
