U.S. midterm elections: An Iraqi perspective
The U.S. mid-term Congressional election showed Iraq as the top issue on the minds of American voters, with many experts suggesting that the Democrats' victory means a new strategy in Iraq, as they would succeed in pressuring the American President George W. Bush change his policies, which have so far proved their failure in the war-torn country, where over 655,000 Iraqis, and nearly 3000 American troops have been killed since the war began. (more)
