Kennesaw Political Science Professor Britt William who is currently on the U.S. Election Assistance Commission Technical Guidelines Development Committee for voting systems, in 2002 allegedly helped Diebold to install a secret patch into Georgia's voting machine immediately prior to the 2002 election in which the surprising election results were well outside the margin of all pre-election polls and the popular Max Clelland, triple amputee war hero of Vietnam, lost his U.S. Senate seat.
The two whistleblowers now include a high-level Diebold insider and a Diebold technician in GA, whose stories agree regarding the unauthorized, seemingly unnecessary, last-minute Diebold "patch".
This story (reported below) was released originally in 2003 by BlackBoxVoting, but a high-level Diebold insider recently confirmed the Diebold secret patch to Brad Friedman of BradBlog.
