An Israeli military unit stormed Tuesday the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate headquarters in the Old City of Jerusalem.
In a statement faxed to WAFA, the Patriarchate said that the Israeli unit broke into the house of the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Atallah Hanna, Bishop of Sebastia and handed him a warrant for interrogation. The Patriarchate strongly denounced the unprecedented Israeli act against a clergyman in the Patriarchate. "Such act is too dangerous. It is a breach to human rights and religious freedom."
