Martin Luther King Day

Article image Today, the United States honors the memory of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Sadly, his Spirit is still as unwelcome in Washington, D.C. as he was, during his lifetime.

He reminded us that: “We are called to speak for the weak, for the voiceless, for victims of our nation and for those it calls enemy, for no document from human hands can make these humans any less our brothers.”
Dr. King worked toward a time when each and every individual would be judged solely on “the content of his character” and that “Every nation must now develop an overriding loyalty to mankind as a whole in order to preserve the best in their individual societies.”

May his Spirit rekindle in us all the awareness that ALL peoples of ALL nations are forever united in One Universal Humanity.
