Turkey is a predominantly Muslim country, with a democratic secular constitution and government, upholding religious tolerance – a prime target for those who wish to see the world divided along religious lines.
Immediately after the attack, the world media reported - with varying degrees of certainty - exactly who was responsible for this cowardly crime. Depending upon the speaker, the criminals were identified as either a Turkish Islamic extremist group or “outside influences”, such as al-Qaida or even Mossad and the C.I.A., depending upon that particular person’s point of view. All without investigation.

Those who committed this disgrace have no religion and are simply mindless criminals. Jewish, Christian and Islamic Law, along with other religious beliefs, as well as International Law, all hold places of worship as sacred and inviolable.
Whoever committed this atrocity is no warrior, for there can be no Honor in killing the defenseless.
At present, Turkish police are conducting their own investigation and it is hoped that they will have the courage to complete their work, without “outside influences”.
